Labor Day in the valley
(Photo Dale Sandberg)
ILLINOIS VALLEY LIONS Club annual Labor Day Festival offered numerous crowd-pleasing activities. Tough Trucks negotiated a brutal course which disabled many rigs. Other activities which prove popular year after year are the greased pole climb with monetary rewards for those determined to make it to the top; and the parade through Downtown Cave Junction, featuring numerous entries, including an equestrian group.
