Antique Alley Custom Rod Shop in rural Cave Junction celebrated 39 years of being in business with its annual Christmas in July party on Friday, the Fourth of July.

Owner Howard Hill and his wife, Terri, hosted a large group of friends and custom car aficionados.

Hill began the business in San Diego near the former Convair facility that built Atlas missiles. He relocated his business to Illinois Valley several years ago. Hill has rebuilt and customized vehicles for a wide range of customers including some famous personalities. (Photos by Illinois Valley News)
