Theron L. (Robbie) Robinson
Theron L. (Robbie) Robinson was born in Enid, Oklahoma, 1927, the eldest of seven children, born to Loyde and Lorena Robinson. He went to be with the Lord on January 9th, 2011. He was 83.
During his years in Cave Junction, he owned and operated “Robbie“s Auto Care Center“ for 37 years, he was a Lions Club member, on the city council, and was a tireless advocate for the signal on River St. and 199. He walked the children across 199 daily for years.
He was a faithful Christian helping to build Bridgeview Church and to bring the different congregations together for “Praise Gatherings“. He was like a child at Christmas gathering food for the families and toys for the children. He was an avid bowler, sponsoring many teams and leagues at Caveman Bowl.
He was a loving and helpful husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Joan, his daughter, Kimberly, his son, Kerry and four step-children, Terry, Loretta, Carol and Gary, four grandchildren, nine stepgrandchildren, two sisters, Wanda and Louise, three brothers, Harold, Doyle and Richard, all of California. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jesse David (J.D).
His memorial service will be at Community Bible Church located at 113 S. Caves Ave. in Cave Junction on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 2:00p.m. Please come and celebrate his life with us.
